A more fun and in depth description of this Star Fleet Friend is listed on the Star Fleet transfer of care form image.

General Information: This Shingi-Hada is one out of an edition of 1000, each creature within this series is designed by JooYoung Choi and made with a sewing machine, hand sewing and glue gun. Each creature is stuffed with 100% reused/recycled fiber material. This project along with the potato rock project make use of the unusable remaining material from other projects, instead of throwing away the small amount of fabric left behind after creating large scale sculptures, puppets and costumes, JooYoung saves these pieces and reuses them to create Shingi-Hada Star Fleet Friends.

Shingi-Hada is a Korean word that is difficult to translate it can mean many things such as: marvelous, miraculous, incredibly amazing and/or fascinating.

In the Cosmic Womb Narrative, Shingi-Hada's often emerge from a lake not far from Queen Kiok's castle, and some may fall from the sky. Their bodies encapsulate and preserve a special type of wonder that we experience often as children and hopefully as adults.

I wondered, where does all that wonder go? What happens when we think we know it all? Where does 'not knowing go?', where does curiosity go after a person feels they no longer are curious? That feeling never really dies, it just travels on to touch another person.

I like to think that it travels like a star, and that is why I have created the Shingi-Hada Star Fleet.
